Procurement of Paper , Flexible and Rigid Packaging Material for Home care, Personal Care and Health care Products Business.PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:• Responsible for sourcing of paper , rigid and flexible packaging materials for the Home care ,personal care and health care products business on a timely basis and as per planned requirements.• To support business Gross margins and NWC management.• Sourcing for New products development (NPD).• E-Auctions and RFQ tool on negotiations.• Manage a team of vendors, including contracting driving to adherence to performance metrics in cost reduction, rationalization, lead time reduction, quality compliance. • Track relevant markets for gathering information on supply and demand of Packaging Material & underlying commodities and leverage the same in buying decisions. •Ensure close monitoring of vendor performance to encourage a continuous improvement culture.•Take the lead in identifying new, more reliable and / or lower cost resources of supply.•Comply with laid down systems and processes in the Packaging Material procurement and set-up new systems & fine tune existing one to meet requirements of the business.•Function as a team player to implement end to end solutions across the supply chain, including interactions with the demand planning, manufacturing, logistics, vendors & other external agencies. •Validate Bill of Materials (BOM) and prepare standard costs for release on a quarterly basis.•Generation of appropriate MIS and analytics on a regular basis to support performance management systems.

• Ensure complete process of production planning is handled smoothly and efficiently to meet the Units deliverables.• Procurement & Delivery of Raw and Packing Materials for two plants soap and liquids.• Negotiation , Material Planning , scheduling, delivery ,Warehouse Management, store management.• Indirect Purchases. • Coordination with Central Purchase Team / New Product Development Team / Finance / Transporters .•Sub Contracting – Job work reconciliations with all rigid PM suppliers ( Bottles ) •To maintain RM/PM inventory within agreed norms and ensure that there are no stock outs•Weekly reporting and highlighting of potential issues and proactive handling of the same.•Extend support to New Product Development

Procurement of Bought out parts from local and out stationed vendors. Managing co-ordination, external ( vendor / transporter) internal (planning , stores ,Mfg., PDC, RP.MIS as per Management requirement.Monthly Reconciliation from vendors for job work parts.Capacity and flexibility enhancement of vendors for ramp up for season.Monitor periodic vendor performance on delivery and responsiveness.
