Part of the Server Connectivity BU after Cavium acquired QLogic, I'm responsible for Ethernet Controllers drivers and related software development and QE with focus on SDN data plane acceleration, Storage, and Security offloads. Built and managed a global engineering team of ~60 high caliber engineers to deliver 5-generations of Ethernet products from inception of 10GbE to 100+GbE with key role in every generation that helped the Company to become one of the top Ethernet players in the industry with high volume business across all tier-1 Server & Storage OEMs, Cloud Providers. Worked closely with hardware architects and led architecture, design, and development of key technologies and features - SDN data-plane acceleration, SR-IOV, embedded NIC switch, tunneling, NIC partitioning, flow offloads, QoS, DCB, and many more. Built new and emerging ideas into viable products by influencing and driving cross functional internal teams as well as building an external partner ecosystem to successfully bring new technologies/products to market.Scalable RDMA (RoCE and iWARP), NVMe-over-fabrics, SAN/Fibre Channel, iSCSI, and FCoE offloads, DPDK/SPDK.
