While building ChaiOne, we encountered challenges with a fragmented technology community of designers and developers, making it very hard to scale a tech business in Houston. To solve this problem, we needed density of development talent. - We bought a warehouse in Eado (East Downtown) and created an exciting atmosphere where anything was possible. - We host monthly Demo Days where 4 startups pitch to a community of about 100 people which includes technologists, entrepreneurs, investors and media. The event is completely free and is a great way to get introduced to the tech scene in Houston.- Corporate clients of ChaiOne leverage the experience to jumpstart innovation workshops, hackathons and venture initiatives at their own companies.
