Estee is a Quant Hedge Fund, Prop Trader and a member of all major Stock-exchanges in India. We create and trade algorithm based investment products. In addition to heading business strategy & development functions, as part of the senior management team, Gaurav's work involves driving key strategic initiatives across diverse business areas at Estee including Asset Management, Product Distribution, Capital Raising, Prop trading and Brokerage.

As a Senior Manager in Genpact, Gaurav worked in the capacity of a dedicated (full-time) consultant to Capital One during this period. This was a middle management role within the securitizations & treasury division of the McLean & Richmond, VA based banking client. Responsibilities included managing multiple teams interacting across front, middle & back-office functions in the areas of Capital Markets, Securitizations, Treasury, Risk and Investor Reporting.

Serving buy side client mandates at Inductis, Gaurav's key responsibilities included:• Managing client revenue streams comprising of a series of unstructured projects.• Driving construction of the solution and preparation of deliverables along with taking ownership for quality, accuracy and timeliness.• Independently leading problem solving for clients including leading structuring of the problem, approach and hypothesis formulation, driving data collection and analysis followed by project delivery post review and QC.

Client Project Streams Delivered:• Trading strategies for hedge funds - Formulated hypothesis for trading strategies, developed algorithms for automation and back testing, Implemented and operationalized the strategy in live market and ran it as PM.• Financial modeling - Built complex financial models from scratch; Ran, reviewed and improved existing financial models, led secondary and primary research for model inputs and assumptions.• Advisory to Private Equity Clients – Industry Sizing, Assessment and Evaluation; Identification of potential list of Targets; Valuation Multiples and Due diligence; Analysis of Portfolio Companies and Preparation of Investment Proposals• Fundamental Research on Equities
