Retail Management Services (RMS) is the Flagship product of Nielsen India. It is the only company in India providing such a service. Nielsen collects sales data of FMCG sector on monthly basis. This data is analysed according to the client needs. The Deliverable includes: - Understanding the clients problem and converting it into the Market Research Problem. - Extracting the relevant data from the Database and Analyzing it to answer the MR Problem - Analyzing includes: Category Overview, Competitors Overview, Brand Overview, Channels Performance at All India, Rural - Urban, Regional and other Pop Strata Levels for Sales Value, Volume, Number of Stores etc. - Consulting the clients for pricing, promotions, assortment and distribution network - Preparing Sales Strategy for new products by finding out the correct market, right channel and optimum distribution plan.Currently consulting P&G and other smaller clients.
