My role at CSF allows me to work on diverse solutions to implement Foundational Literacy and Numeracy at Scale for children in Government Schools. I do it through:- Leading CSF's District Project Management Units that support District level Administrative and Academic leadership in implementing the NIPUN Mission. The units aim to build capacity in key stakeholders in the districts to set strategy, implement, and review the mission to ensure sustainable FLN outcomes. - Co-leading CSF's Early Childhood Education portfolio to support two states in strategizing and setting up their ECE programs, along with running an action research project to generate evidence for quality ECE- An innovative finance project solving for scalable, low-cost solutions in early education - LIFTEd, where I lend strategic support on FLN and Government Engagement advisory; CSF's areas of expertise. USAID supported #LIFTEd's Development Impact Bond, launched in mid-2022, is the world's biggest DIB in Foundational Learning, spanning five states in the country.- Playing the role of the grant manager-cum-technical advisor for CSF's partner organizations in Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu that lead state's FLN PMUs- Lead CSF's core team on RTI-USAID project, Improving Learning Outcomes for Asia (ILOA), intended to catalyze CSOs in India, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Sri Lanka to aid USAID Missions on education and employability. CSF is the Regional Network Partner for South Asia on the projectOver the last year, I also led CSF's Project Management Unit in Odisha that supports the Education Department, OSEPA, and SCERT on Odisha's FLN Mission on key workstreams.

Slam Out Loud is an India based non-profit that uses the transformational power of performance and visual arts to enable children from disadvantaged communities find their voice through creative expression. We run one of its kind, arts-based fellowship - The Jijivisha Fellowship in Delhi and work in Rajasthan, Maharashtra and UP to make art based e-learning accessible to 50000 children in 950 Indian villages. Hundred.org recognized us as one of the 100 most inspiring education innovations from around the world in 2019 and we were one of the 6 winners from across 25 teams worldwide at the social entrepreneurship challenge Unleash+ in China. Additionally, we have been incubated by some of the most prominent social incubators in India including N/Core, Unltd India and InnovatEd.

These include both Fellows, who commit two years to teaching low-income & under-resourced classrooms, as well as Staff teams, who bolster these efforts through strategic support & organisational direction. Program Managers play a key role at the heart of their City Teams driving towards an ambitious, contextual and collective vision. Through co-creating a rich and effective ecosystem designed to enable all Fellows to pursue their own journey as leaders and teachers, PMs consistently seek out opportunities to learn and grow. Program Managers strive to build ownership in Fellows, facilitating and connecting them to experiences, which will allow them to develop skills and mindsets centered on personal transformation, collective action, educational equity and curriculum and pedagogy.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate a strategic plan of support, aligned to City goals and Fellow needs that enables all Fellows to create learning environments, which actively encourages the development of student leadershipBuild capacity in Fellows to use a wide range of data (qualitative and quantitative) to analyze progress to goals, evaluate and increase effectivenessDevelop and manage a team of Fellows through a variety of essential opportunities: Classroom Observations, feedback and aligned need-based learning experiencesPlan and execute effective peer-driven Learning Circles, technical support such as grade level circles and training sessions and on-going learning experiences which allow Fellows to connect all aspect of the Leadership Development Framework.Additional Responsibilities:Worked as a selector for Fellowship Selection team evaluating and interviewing applicants through Assessment Center and making data based decisions.

The School Leaders serve as a School site’s instructional, operational and cultural leader. They oversee about 50-60 Fellows and a team of 3-5 Program Managers at the Institute and therefore impact the achievement of approximately 300 students.Key Responsibilities of the Role:Create and align the goals and actions of 4-5 Program Managers, 2-3 Fellow Advisors and 1 School Coordinator to the City-school team vision.Spearhead weekly analysis of data (fellow survey, student achievement, quantiative and qualitative) identify trends and progress to goals and driving key action changes as prioritised.Develop leadership and instructional competencies in Fellows and staff via multiple structures toachieve the City-school team vision and goals.Develop Program Managers as coaches, communicators and analysts.Lead, motivate, and inspire a team of staff members and Fellows aligned to the team culture, viavarious learning experiences.Enable effective partnerships with parents and set examples of empowering parents and students communities.

The Teach For India Fellowship program, is an opportunity for India’s brightest and most promising youth, from the nation’s best universities and workplaces, to serve as full-time teachers to children from low-income communities in some of the nation’s most under-resourced schools. Through this experience of teaching in classrooms and working with key education stakeholders like students, principals, and parents, Fellows get exposed to the grassroot realities of India’s education system and begin to cultivate the knowledge, skills, and mindsets necessary to attain positions of leadership in education and identify their role in building a wider movement for educational equity in the country.Key Achievements in the role:Fellow Advisor (Year 2)• Mentored 50 Fellows at Summer Institute and 9 Fellows in the city towards enhanced instructional outcomes• Ideated and developed structures for Grade Level Circles to strengthen professional skills of year 1 fellows through debriefs and feedback cycle• Conceptualized and designed framework for Long Term Plans in Science, in the process, created and piloted grade 6 Long Term Plan in 15 classroomsVolunteer Selector, Fellowship Selection Committee (Year 2)• Reviewed more than 50 applications and telephonically interviewed more than 30 candidates for technical and leadership skills in multiple cycles of selectionFellow (Year 1 and 2) • Responsible for bridging achievement gap of 50 students from grade 5 and 6 in a government school based in low income community.• Invested school leader, parents and organization effectively leading to 100% transition from primary school system (MCD) to secondary school - DoE• Implemented systems of feedback and follow ups for SMC leading to 40% increase in attendance in meetings• Conceptualized and led poetry based workshops for 600 children across low income schools in Delhi as a part of Be The Change Project.
