I worked with the Senior Producers and other Student Producers from BU's Marketing Communications team to pitch, produce, and edit video content for BU's social media (Instagram, Facebook, Youtube) and their publications (BU Today).

At CorePower Yoga, I infuse my classes with authenticity and insights I have gained from my education about Yoga in India and throughout my childhood. My teaching style reflects a genuine passion for the practice, offering a personalized approach that resonates with students at all levels.

As a Teen Media Intern for the Community Arts Center, I help teach teens about story development, camera work, editing and collaboration by assisting the Teen Media Program Director. I also help develop CAC's annual youth film festival, Do It Your Damn Self!! Youth Film Festival, the oldest youth film festival in the country.

As a student ambassador for the Howard Thurman Center for Common Ground, we analyzed the writings of Howard Thruman to learn how to create community spaces that are diverse, inclusive and foster growth without sacrificing well-being. Through this learning and mentorship, I founded Kalaasangha, a semester-long initiative aimed at uniting South Asian students through culture, creativity, and mindfulness. I successfully drew attention and membership to the program through self-produced, original content. I curated and led a multidisciplinary 13-week curriculum, fostering artistic expression through guided meditations and exploratory workshops, engaging over 100 students. Beyond the meeting room, I orchestrated 10 events, including social mixers, panel discussions and an art showcase, all designed to build a sense of community and establish a creative haven for South Asian students.

As the Creative Director at Charcoal Magazine, I led the creative vision by developing and executing innovative ideation for three impactful magazine issues. Utilizing a deep understanding of overarching themes and global editorial trends, I crafted detailed visual decks for each photoshoot, providing comprehensive guidance for makeup, styling, set design, shot lists, and layout design. Overseeing 25+ editorial photoshoots, I employed innovative management techniques and empathetic leadership to guide a diverse 60+ member team of models, photographers, videographers, stylists, and makeup artists. My hands-on involvement in copyediting written content and collaboration with graphic designers, writers, and editors ensured the cohesion and high quality of each print issue. This role not only honed my creative direction skills but also strengthened my abilities in team leadership, project management, and content quality control.
