I am a resourceful and innovative leader in my community, striving to fill in gaps where ever I go. I had several opportunities in international development that made me passionate about ending gender-based violence. Creating the Women of South Asian Heritage Collective (WoSAHC) at the University of Toronto is a testament to my commitment to centering marginalized voices. I have worked in the Violence Against Women sector where I develop programming and utilize resources for survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking. Currently, I develop and implement EDI programming for York University's Faculty of Liberal Arts and Professional Studies. My experiences have shaped me into an innovative and critical thinker, passionate about having meaningful connections and relationships with those around me. I have a growing interest in legal and policy advocacy. Ultimately, I seek to build a career that centres around compassion and advocating for others.
