I graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park, with a degree in Public Health Science and Humanities, Health, and Medicine in Spring 2023. I am extremely passionate about human physiology, medicine, and epidemiology, having spent the last few years studying in this field and working as a medical assistant, physical therapy technician, and pharmacy technician. With much hands-on experience and compassion toward helping the community, my interests lie in further expanding my skill and knowledge in assisting patients in pain and providing equitable care to all. As I move onto my next academic adventure, I wish to obtain a dual Master's degree in Medical Science: Physicians Assistant Studies (PA) and Public Health with a concentration in Maternal & Child Health and Epidemiology. The intersection between clinical medicine and public health will allow me to fulfill my desire to serve the community lies in hopes to providing equitable medical care for all but especially to underserved populations and minority groups. Skilled in Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Excel, public speaking, time management, organization, observant, active listening, critical thinking, and am flexible.
