unTAG is a unison of two contrasting personalities, conceptualized in 2014 by Gauri Satam and Tejesh Patil, graduates from Sir JJ College of Architecture. Being entirely different personalities, each of us brings a totally different perspective to any project. We truly believe that the most difficult thing to achieve in design is simplicity. We consider every project as unique, and that it needs a SPECIFIC design solution, SENSITIVE to its context. For us, a precise transformation of an idea on paper into an actual built form, with appropriate materials conducive to the native climate is the key to a good architectural practice. We wish to offer our services to every strata of society, and aim to make a difference at the grass root level through our practice. The Studio has won some prestigious awards like IAB Magazine’s Young Designer’s Award 2016 and Trends Most Sustainable Project Award 2017.unTAG’s projects have been published in esteemed design magazines like Indian Architect & Builder Mag, Trends Mag, Design Detail Mag, Archipendium Calender. Their work has also been extensively published online on internationl design platforms like Archdaily, Domus, Divisare, ArchitectureLive, Magzter, Plataformaarquitectura etc.
