After nearly five years in the corporate world, in 2020, amidst the challenging times of the pandemic, I stumbled upon the ill effects of fast fashion on the environment. It was a profound moment that made me reflect on my own consumption patterns and the urgent need for change.That's when Earthy Route was born, a blog promoting mindful consumption and sustainability. The blog is a combined effort of my husband, Varun, and me, both of us being equally enthusiastic about environmental causes.Starting with a pilot project in October 2021, we introduced a limited collection for both men and women, focusing on sustainable fabrics and timeless styles. The overwhelming response and support from our community further fueled our drive to create a full-fledged men's shirts collection in August 2022.At our core lies sustainability – we believe in building a slow fashion brand that is mindful of production and, consequently, consumption.
