As the Lead Scientist at Helex, I am responsible for supervising the design and implementation of both in vitro and in vivo studies to validate our proprietary technology concepts. This validation process is crucial for developing safe and effective products for our customers, and I am responsible for establishing the validation of Helex's proprietary safety platform in vitro and in vivo.Aside from my work at Helex, I have made significant contributions to the development of CyGenica's Molecular Nanomachine (GEENIE). This exclusive technology delivers chemotherapeutic drugs, siRNA, and CRISPR toolbox for intracellular delivery. My proficiency in technical skills and designing and implementing efficient workflows have been crucial in ensuring the success of this project.During my postdoctoral research, I focused on investigating Toll-like receptor 2 (TLR2) interactomes in periodontitis caused by Porphyromonas gingivalis. I used CRISPR Cas9 and FACS to examine their impact. Additionally, I studied the endoribonucleolytic activity of the toxin MazF from the highly pathogenic Gram-positive bacteria, Staphylococcus aureus (Sa), and the impact of EDF peptides on this activity.While pursuing my Ph.D., I identified the structure-function relationships of arginase in Leishmania donovani. My expertise in conducting biochemical and biophysical characterisations of arginase allowed me to explore its potential as a drug target for leishmaniasis.My passion is using my skills and knowledge to develop innovative products that have the potential to make a positive impact on people's lives. I am committed to driving scientific advancement and contributing to the development of groundbreaking products.
