Working on design, fabrication and characterization of Spatial Light Modulators and Photonic Crystal Surface Emitting Lasers.

I have been working on the Photonic Crystal Surface Emitting Lasers for various applications requiring High power/High Speed such as Material Processing, Free space communication, LiDAR etc

I designed Electromagnetic undergraduate projects and guide students to learn and complete their projects.

•I worked closely with various 200 mm wafer fabrication instruments and processes in class 1 clean- room environment.•I processed equipment control data and verify them based on the Six Sigma Statistical Process Control (SPC) principles.

I worked on Wide Band Gap semiconductors lab for the integration of AlgaN/GaN HEMT with diamond.

• Growth of CVD diamond on wide band gap semiconductors (GaN, AlGaN) to optimize the process for getting perfect CVD diamond thin film with highest GaN-Diamond interfacial thermal conductivity.• Experienced on CVD and MOCVD equipment and thin film growth process.• Characterized thus grown sample using SEM/EDS/AFM/XRD to determine deformations (cracks/voids if present), thickness, composition, orientation of crystal and surface roughness.

• Leading laboratory sessions of optics lab and general lab for undergraduate level.• Supervised students on heartbeat sensor and virtual reality glass projects. • Involved in lab preparation and instruments inspections, maintained lab safety rule, graded report and tutored different physics topics.• Attend GIA meetings, workshops and plan for strategic issues like increasing student involvement and attendance and organizing the weekly meeting with professors and students.
