With nearly three decades of experience, I thrive on challenges and continuous learning. Beginning my career as a construction engineer in a Power Plant at L&T, I now lead Digital Programs and IT Operations for one of India's largest FMCG companies, ITC.Throughout my journey, I've championed a customer-first strategy, prioritizing detailed execution planning and continuous learning. Leading from the front, I've embraced a coaching mindset to empower my team members.As a passionate and forward-thinking IT leader, I deeply understand technology trends and emerging digital technologies. In my current role, I focus on identifying digital innovation and transformation opportunities, particularly in Industry 4.0, MES, Track & Trace, and large data warehouses for marketing.As a change agent, I build strong relationships with C-suite members and external partners, driving alignment and collaboration on key business objectives. I actively promote technology adoption across the organization and have led transformative initiatives such as MES, Digital Lines (IIOT), Advanced Analytics, Data Lake, and Collaboration Platforms for ITC’s Tobacco Division.Furthermore, I oversee IT service delivery for over 5,500 users across 90+ business locations, ensuring 24/7 operations and compliance with ITC's Information Management Policy SOPs.Beyond my professional responsibilities, I dedicate my time to serving as a Guest Lecturer on Industry 4.0 at esteemed management institutes like XLRI Jamshedpur.By education, I hold a Civil Engineering degree from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, and a MS in Software Systems from BITS, Pilani. Outside of work, I am a Nature Lover, promoting sustainable usage of natural resources and building living ecosystems using live aquatic plants in aquariums. I've also established a gallery for Natural Aquariums in Kolkata, India, and mentor individuals and organizations promoting environmental conservation.
