Hi, I’m Gautham Kc, a Data Scientist by profession and an Entrepreneur from heart.Ever since my childhood, I have always been analyzing data. Let it be when playing "Runescape"(an online game and a story for another day) or flipping products. In fact, the first product I ever flipped was a Beyblade at a 3x profit margin. I first started working in my 11th grade as an Event Assistant and later scaled myself into becoming an event coordinator in less than 6 months. My first paycheck was 50,000 and this made me skip the first 6 months of college. Unfortunately, my parents found out about this, I was forced to quit and continue collegeI was not the brightest student, my CET rank was around 55,000 and I was not getting into any good colleges. That's when I completely studied the list of colleges with the seats available, found few patterns, and landed a seat in Nitte ( Insane right? Only after being in my classroom is when I realized that everyone in my class had a ranking of less than 3000.. xD )I started my first company during my summer vacations in the 2nd year of Engineering and it dealt with data conversion services. I had a team of 5 amazing people working with me but I could not sustain this business once my engineering resumed and was forced to shut down the company.However, failures didn’t stop me from experimenting and trying new things.My love for data, analyzing patterns, and finding gaps lead me to create my next and the first successful company 'Cosmos Merchandise' in my 3rd year of Engineering. The company deals with providing custom merchandise in both B2B and B2C segments.In less than 3 years, we served over 100 clients across India and I was able to scale the company from making 1000 INR to 2 Lakh/Month in revenue. I put this business on auto-pilot and decided to take up new challenges.I have always wanted to create websites cause they enable me to tell stories through images and video. I joined Wootera as a front-end developer where I went from designing and building static one-page websites to multiple-page complicated websites.later, I watched a TV show on Amazon prime called the 'Person of Interest' and it re-ignited my love for data and AI. I quickly took up a course on Udemy, did a couple of projects on Kaggle and other platforms. I started my Journey as a Data storyteller and been loving it for the last couple of years.
