A year as a member of the Young People for Action Team (YPAT) has been a great experience. I've had the opportunity to work in a diverse team with excellent members, who each bring something unique and special to the table. With their help and guidance, I was able to learn how to plan interventions, discuss ideas, and execute them to achieve our goals. Through my journey, I also was able to create a strong network of contacts that I can definitely use in future social work involvements. The YPAT has been an invaluable experience to me and I'm sure I'll take with me all the things I've learned.

As a dedicated civil defense volunteer with a passion for serving and protecting the public during emergencies and disasters, I have been trained in various skills such as first aid, search and rescue, evacuation, and communication. I am committed to responding effectively to crises and providing aid and support to those in need.My experience as a civil defense volunteer has given me the opportunity to contribute to my community by assisting in the development and implementation of emergency plans and procedures. I have also participated in drills and exercises to prepare for potential disasters, ensuring that I am always ready to respond in case of an emergency.In addition to my civil defense work, I have also volunteered in various COVID relief activities, where I was recognized with a SAT SEVA PATR award for my exemplary contributions. As part of my COVID relief work, I assisted in distributing essential supplies, managing shelters, and providing support to those in need.Moreover, I have also had the privilege of coordinating volunteer activities in Pathanamthitta district under district administration. I worked closely with other volunteers and the district administration to organize and manage volunteer activities to provide aid and support to those affected by disasters and emergencies.

As a National Youth Volunteer with Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, I had the opportunity to contribute to the development of my community by volunteering my time and skills. During my tenure, I participated in various community development activities such as organizing awareness campaigns, promoting health and hygiene, organizing sports and cultural events, and providing disaster relief.I attended training sessions on leadership, communication, team building, and project management, which helped me develop my skills and abilities. I also had the opportunity to interact with other volunteers and participate in national and international events.Through this experience, I developed a passion for community development and learned the importance of teamwork and effective communication. I gained valuable experience and skills that have helped me in my future career.Overall, my experience as a National Youth Volunteer with Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan was a truly rewarding experience, and I am grateful for the opportunity to have made a positive impact on my community
