Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations.Maintain prepaid and purchase order Invoice / amortization schedules.Handling year end Accounting close activities.Analyze and assist in the implementation of new accounting standards per subsidiary requirements.Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for multiple bank accounts, clearing open item, and to prepare adjusting journal entries to make the corrections for appropriate accounting records.Reconciling suspense accounts and clearing during month end.Prepare commission calculations, freight tax calculation and loading journals into SAP.Responsible for mentoring Entry Level Trainees.Relocation of all inter-company journals, adjustment, and reclassification journals on monthly basis.Arrange and support in both internal & external audit and in matters of compliance as per Subsidiary advice.Closing ledgers and reporting the trial balance for Reconciliation.Make timely and effective decisions. Identify and use policies and procedures to make the right choices.Ensure that all assigned works are completed in a timely and accurate manner before book close.Quality check of the financial statements such as Purchase order reports and parked invoice report which are deliverable to client.Ensure that processes are followed successfully and enforce business rules.Support the business requestors by providing on-line support for standard requests and Adhoc Journal requests as per client norms.
