• Preparation of Monthly management accounts and monitoring performance against budget. • Maintain prepayment and other amortization schedules as per the Invoices from customers. • Handling year end Accounting close activities. • Analyze and assist in the implementation of new accounting standards. • Prepare monthly bank reconciliation for multiple bank accounts, clearing open item, and to prepare adjusting journal entries to make the corrections for appropriate accounting records. • Reconciling all clearing and Suspense Accounts during month end. • Preparation of Purchase order receipted and unreceipted reports during month end close. • Prepare monthly reports – Cash Position Reports, Remittance report to Subsidiary and Treasury Reports. • Prepare commission calculations, freight tax calculation and post journals. • Responsible for mentoring Entry Level Trainees. • Relocation of all inter-company journals, adjustment and reclassification journals on monthly basis. • Liaising with external auditors in the preparation of the annual statutory accounts matters of compliance as per Subsidiary advise. • Closing ledgers and reporting the trial balance for consolidation.
