In line with corporate policy and in collaboration with the Strategic Sourcing Group, pControl, a product of the Milestone Group, was selected as the 3rd party Unit Pricing solution that was implemented within IOS. Within the IOS UK, pricing is supported on HiPortfolio and the verification process is supplemented by HiPortfolio data extracts, elements of which are loaded into spreadsheets for manual checking and variance analysis. Whilst the current process supports the current service volumes for one client, additional pricing volumes and additional clients cannot be supported. There is therefore a requirement to implement an automated, scalable solution to support creation, checking and enhancements of unit pricing information, price distribution, and all daily and month-end reporting, enabling IOS to support growing demand from MFM (Morley Fund Management) and expanding client base. It was agreed that a 3rd party solution, Milestones pControl software, will be implemented to enable a full Unit Pricing solution for IOS. However the scope of this project was limited to Validation & Reporting, Price Distribution and Fund of Funds pricing.
