Weather, Pikasa, Shoutcast...). • Integrated a Nagravision conditional access system.

Most of the Japanese customers used to build their applications on top of a TRON-compliant (Japanesestandard) operating system. I provided guidelines and assistance in porting them to our real-timecomponent-based OS and middleware. • Analyzed the application to evaluate the migration effort. • Proposed a migration procedure to minimize changes to the original application. • Proposed a new architecture to leverage a component-oriented design. • On-site assistance during the migration process.I enhanced our component-based OS and SDK, and integrated various third-party products. I also joinedthe effort to automate the testing of the OS and SDK. • Ported the boot loader and the virtual memory manager to ARM processors. • Enhanced the thread scheduler (FIFO support) and the file system manager. • Ported our SDK to MN103 processors (binary component format, static linker, dynamic linker). • Wrote a µITRON 3 and 4 compatibility layer. • Ported a JVM and a dual IPv4/IPv6 stack. • Wrote unit tests (memory manager, thread scheduler, synchronization primitives, file system...).
