CurrentGuide the day to day assignment of important stories and determine how to best tell them in radio broadcasts. Assign stories to writers in the newsroom and appropriately balance their workload. Oversee the newsroom, stepping in to resolve any technical issues that could disrupt the broadcast. Write and produce unique and compelling stories that connect with the audience. Write and produce newscasts and special reports as interim Copy Editor. • Wrote and produced multiple long-form narrative stories as well as shorter pieces, including Dead Sound, a documentary that traces the origins of modern concert sound, and Eye on Earth, an in-depth series on climate change. Dead Sound was a finalist at the New York Festivals Radio Awards and was streamed by more than 10,000 people.
