This support is based on strong communication skills backed comprehensive project management capabilities, as he has demonstrated on large multidisciplinary infrastructure and mining projects such as the $850m Gorgon LNG Site Preparation and Temporary Facilities project, $620m CityLink Tulla Widening and the $144m Water to Water Alliance.Gavan’s success is based on three tenents: Build the right team to achieve client’s aims, ensure each team member understands their responsibilities and provide the support the team needs to succeed. His ability to consistently satisfy these three elements is based on the sheer diversity of his previous project experience, which ranges across airports, dams, freeways, rail and mining, both within extremely congested brownfield environments, such the recent $240m Melbourne Multi-Level Structure at Melbourne Airport, to extremely remote greenfields projects such as the $800m Prominent Hill Copper and Gold Mine in outback South Australia. Reporting to the Alliance Manager, Gavan was responsible for ensuring compliance with:- Alliance safety, environmental, community and quality requirements- Project execution plan so the works were in accordance with all commercial obligations- Reporting timelines- Responding to all supplier / subcontractor initiated variation requests- Design and construction deliverables inclusive of budget and schedule- Management of risk and opportunity plan.

Prominent Hill Copper Gold Mine

Reporting to the BU Mining Manager, Gavan's Responsibilities included ensuring compliance with:- Corporate and Client safety, environmental, and quality requirements- Corporate governance requirements- Project execution plan so the works were in accordance with all commercial obligations- Reporting timelines- Community Plan- Employee and Industrial Relations plan requirements.
