I recently completed a PhD in biomedical engineering with a concentration in biomaterials!My research focuses on drug screening, understanding how mechanical forces, like those which occur as we walk around every day, can influence cartilage health, and developing polymeric nanocarriers and lubricants, which can be injected into the knee to protect cartilage from degradation and promote the regeneration of cartilage.
