Key responsibilities and achievements:Rope Access LGI,NDT,Fall Protection/DROPS/Derrick Cat III in a 3 personnel team.Fully responsible for all administration such as Permit to Work, Daily Progress Reports, Trip Summary, Risk Assessment’sEstablishing a good rapport with work site staff and management.Extensive experience in undertaking a wide range of surveys such as Lifting Gear Inspections, UWILD, Inspection of Drill Handling Tools (including CAT IV wear measurements), MPI and Eddy Current surveys, Fall Protections Surveys, Derrick Inspections, Critical Load Path surveys.Liaison with ABS Representatives when performing UWILD Surveys and 5 Yearly Crane Load Tests and load tests of BOP winches (in accordance with SWIM) to API RP2D standard.Carrying out multiple surveys in numerous countries throughout the Middle East for many oil contractors such as Rowan, Seadrill, Shelf, Weatherford, Arabian Drilling, DPS.Key Skills Gained:Competent in reporting formats such as AVOKA, Microsoft Excel and Word.Advanced my experience in rope access at IRATA Level 1 (Over 1300 logged hours)Knowledge of many technical standards such as ASME, BS, API, IADC, DNV and Regulations such as LOLER and PUWER.

3 challenging tours of duties in Afghanistan starting from a marine to Lance corporal then to Section Commander in the front line, involved in challenging, dangerous and difficult situations. Arctic warfare trained having spent 2 months in Norway as a section commander, leading, motivating men, advising officers in probably one of the most physically and mentally environments in the world.Maritime Beach landings in Holland as a section commander, involved in planning of beach recognisance and beach selection, planning stages from deploying vessels and troops from a water born platform to the beach landings. Conducting Anti Piracy operations in Gulf of Aden, Somali basin. Team commander for FSRT boarding teams, conducting boarding’s and tactics to disrupt and deter the activity of piracy. Planning training and overseeing exercises for FSRT (Fleet Standby Riffle Troop) boarding teams and Directive continuation training (DCT) for the Royal Navy prior to deploying on Anti-Piracy boarding operations in the Gulf of Aden, Somali Basin, IRTC. With duties ranging from arranging training and advising ship’s captain on course and actions and tactics when dealing with anti-piracy operations, to Close Quarter Battle within the royal marines boarding teams.Deployed to Libya with minimum notice, planning and directing of troops to conduct the evacuation of civilians.Deployment to Iraq conducting maritime interdiction in the (NAG) Northern Arabian Gulf.Completed a junior command course, and a skill at Arms course after only 3 years of being in the Royal marines a quick promotion and now working as A/Sgt on operations in maritime operations.Direct involment in operations, planning and commanding men on the front line under intense pressure around the globe.
