Managed ICT delivery of the flagship project in Rio Tinto Iron Ore’s (RTIO) End-to-End Digital Transformation, with a business benefit of ~$2bn over 5 years using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) delivery methodology.Implementation of a simulation modelling engine to deliver fully integrated planning across the entire iron ore value chain (mine, rail, port) and across all planning time horizons. The ISM application is capable of generating thousands of planning scenarios to provide automated statistical and visual outputs which are then optimised to produce accurate, data driven production forecasts.Championing the transition into an Agile Delivery methodology and culture, leveraging Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). Building processes and standards to ensure that the Agile programme integrated with the existing ICT methodology, the overarching PMO, and organisation level objectives and values, such as safety.

Delivery of multiple concurrent Application and Infrastructure projects.Primarily engaged to manage the Robotic Process Automation Program which included the implementation of Automation Anywhere software as well as the development and mobilisation of 10 ‘Bots’, automating multiple processes across the entire organisation including Finance, Procurement, Customer Services and HR business processes. The scope of the program also established an internal business capability, including a Centre of Excellence (CoE) operating model to manage the suite of implemented Bots as well as a delivery model to manage an ongoing BAU pipeline of change.

Responsible for the successful delivery of the IT Infrastructure and Operational Communications Network as well as a fully automated Barcoding solution to manage inventory and support the business trading arm.Delivering a Business Intelligence solution, including data cleansing, migration and governance processes to create a real time data warehouse for tailored use across the business, including mobile operations. Managing senior business and operational stakeholders across 3 business subsidiaries as well as independent IT consultants and multiple 3rd party technology suppliers.

Successfully delivered one of the largest Microsoft Dynamics AX Enterprise Resource Planning implementations in Australia (c700 users, c$14m). Engaged to bring program back on track after multiple failed implementations and substantial cost overrun. Directly interfacing with senior stakeholders including the CEO and CFO as well as managing external vendors and 3rd party technology suppliers. Implemented the full suite of MS Dynamics AX finance modules in line with business requirements, including business readiness digital communications, web-based learning tools to support transition through the implementation of a central MS SharePoint solution and the full cleanse and migration of Master Data.

Delivery of an end-to-end commercial solution, integrating SAP with specialised Source-to-Contract (S2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) systems. Successfully managed project initiation and planning to define scope and requirements, identify potential solutions, negotiate the tender process, and put in place a delivery plan to be executed by in-house project management. Commercial lead for the analysis, cleansing and migration of all Master Data as the organisation transitioned from Project Phase to Operational Phase. Highlight Projectso Future Clearing Model (FCM) Program - Managed a successful tendering process to deliver the Financial Services Industry governed digital imaging technology for cheque processing nationwide across the UK, with a payment value of c£17.2bn per annum. The project was to centralise and redefine the processing of c28m payments per year with a value of c£17.2bn. o Project Delivery Transformation Initiative – Successfully led a program of work to implement a Customer Relationship Management solution and transform the way iPSL deliver projects which span 8 major European financial services organisations. Engaging directly with the CEO as well as the operational and IT directors as key stakeholders.Implemented a bespoke project management methodology and full restructure, including the introduction of resource pools, a project delivery framework to ensure a best-fit methodology is adopted for each project, an effective PMO, tailored project resource planning tools, as well as communications, governance and stakeholder engagement frameworks centred around a collaborative online SharePoint.o Single Finance Platform Project – Successful integration of the technical payment and insurance platforms of 8 leading banking organisations to create a mutual function and single bespoke process to maximise efficiency.
