Associate Director Of Strategy And Planning
Current-Lead on the development of the Trust’s strategic direction through the creation of a robust business planning process (annual and medium term), ensuring that it supports delivery of the strategic direction, builds on local commissioning intentions and meets internal and external timescales.-Lead the Trust’s Business Planning processes and creation of a business planning framework for the organisation which provides strategic direction for the current and rolling 3 years. Establish structures and manage processes to enable senior clinicians and managers to fully participate in setting and agreeing service priorities within the business and financial framework.-Lead on the development of the Trust’s Efficiency & Productivity Programme and work with the Director of Finance to establish the annual programmed, set CBU and Trustwide targets and ensure robust programme governance and reporting is in place to provide assurance on delivery. Facilitate change programmes to enable the achievement of agreed goals and expected benefits.-Ensure that robust project management principles are developed for service redesign projects, with clear performance outcome metrics. Ensure business process is developed and maintained that is lean and aids productivity and efficient business flow, developing service redesign with clinical and management staff. Manage the integration of service redesign projects into work programmes. Engage clinicians both internally and externally in major service redesign projects to ensure quality of patient’s care is optimised.
