What gets me out of bed in the morning? I get to work with immense amounts of Customer data within Sainsbury's Bank; product transactional, demographic, life stage, econometric, attitudinal, retail spend and comms/response information. We use this to best understand our Customers' product needs, their channel preferences, their price elasticity, their behaviours and attitudes, our penetration of the UK market by different groups, what products we should consider designing and launching, how profitable each customer is, their longevity, etc. Our goal is, obviously, to speak to the right Customers, at the right time, about the right product, by the right channel and in the right persona and tone of voice ... but in a Sainsbury's way.The work my team and me do, touches almost every area of the Business and helps us be right for the Sainsbury's Customer and that's a very rewarding role to be able to do, keeping the Customer at the heart of the business.
