I worked on the team at Hunter that designs controllers for all the systems both residential and commercial. Here, I have learned the techniques of injection molding and can now apply them to 3D modeling projects. My internship focused on product development so I was in charge of improving an existing design of a battery case to make the user experience smoother.

I worked at Emerging Compound Treatment Technologies focusing on systems used to treat contaminated groundwater and soil vapors at different sites throughout the United States and Internationally. In the future, I want to work for an innovative company and ECT is just that, providing cutting edge methods of removing contaminants. ECT treats 1,4-dioxane, PFAS/PFOS, solvents and metals, as well as VOC's. I helped review plans, 3D piping assemblies, and inventory for the systems, as well as completed a safety review of methanol in water treatment systems to provide important information for those installing and maintaining these systems. Working here allowed me to follow my passion of 3D design. Here, I also had the ability to follow projects at different points in their progress and not just be stuck to one part of a project all the time, another career goal of mine.

I worked in the Development Services Department as a student intern. I helped perform tasks needed by full time engineers within the Structural, Electrical, Mechanical, and Fire Protection departments. I read and organized old smoke control reports for high rise buildings. I also learned how the permitting process and code works when looking to design and construct a new building.

I teach people from ages 7 to 17 the game of golf as well as work with them to improve their group leadership. As a camp counselor, the position requires a great awareness for every person at all times, as well as the ability to stay confident and adapt to evolving situations as they arise.

From October 2014 to February 2015 I volunteered Monday, Wednesday, and Friday after school every week as a golf volunteer. Since my high school golf season, I have been limited to volunteering every Friday after school. I play golf with children as well as teach them the skills to improve and grow through golf and life.
