Position Held: Deck CrewI worked as part of the Deck Crew for Woodgroup PSN. Duties include:· Slinging up cargo to be manoeuvred.· Banking cargo through radio/arm signals to Crane Op.· Slinging/Banking containers to go onto Vessel.· Hooking and unhooking containers before and after lifts.· Keep in radio contact with Deck Foreman.· Perform blind lifts.· Used tag lines to land objects, which were being manoeuvred.. Erecting barriers prior to lifts, ensuring worksite clear before any lifts begin.. Preparing and lifting loads into position for other work parties.. Signing on to Permits/Toolbox Talks.. Checking equipment is within Cert and of good quality prior to use.. Ensure equipment is the correct colour code.. Sling up and send/retrieve hoses from vessel along side the Platform.· Stand-by at side of Helideck and observed operations.

I was working as part of the Deck Crew on the Brae Bravo. During my time on the Installation I completed my stage 2 logbook and have since gained my Stage 3 at Falck Nutec.Duties included:· Slinging up cargo to be manoeuvred.· Banking cargo through radio/arm signals to Crane Op.· Slinging/Banking containers to go onto Vessel.· Hooking and unhooking containers before and after lifts.· Kept in radio contact with Deck Foreman.· Performed several blind lifts.· Used tag lines to land objects, which were being manoeuvred.

Gannet Alpha, North Sea

I was working as a General Assistant on the Gannet Alpha for Bilfinger Salamis in the MSW Campaign.Duties included:· Signing on to permits.· Participating in toolbox talk and risk assessments.· Helping with general duties including painting/blasting operations that were on going.· Bridge watch duty as living accommodation was on Borgholm Dolphin flotel.· Fire watch.· Drager gas monitor trained, therefore I swapped them out and investigated when set into alarm.· Kept radio contact with control room.
