DevSecOps has become a big part of the way we do business to ensure efficiency and security in all code development. The DoD is continually in the process of migrating its systems to the Cloud. Using AWS has been a big part of ensuring we evolve all systems for cloud compatibility. As a very passionate person about information technology, I maintain many servers, virtual and cloud alike, and conduct all the necessary networking. Being in the United States Marine Corps has granted me the knowledge and clearance for better understanding the IT maintenance required for a secure environment. Ensuring a protected network from unwanted access to unauthorized users is one of my top priorities everywhere I go. With every new position I take, my craving grows to learn more applications and IT driven ways of doing business.

Maintain all government servers and computers for 45+ employees. As the administrator, ensuring each machine had the appropriate software needed to complete each user task was required. Maintain server patches for Windows server and IIS. Repairing broken machines from printers to technical hardware computer problems. Quarterly inventory taken to keep track of all government equipment and all reports were processed to the lead government liaison. Yearly restock of computer supplies needed to ensure compliance with network security and compatible software per government requirements. Responsible for maintaining onsite servers and Active Directory.

Created models in a proposed Architecture assigned by the governement. Related Systems and Services in accordance with DODAF 2.02 Architecture. Designed Visio models and spreadsheets to submit deliverables to the government.

Maintainted site and data repository written in Cold Fusion. Key team member responsible for complete software life cycle development converting legacy Cold Fusion application to .Net using ASP, VB, JavaScript, using an Oracle backed database and n-tier development.

Fast-track career promotion through a series of increasingly responsible management positions here and overseas. Honorably discharged in the rank of Staff Sergeant.
