CurrentWe host a invitational event designed for Hawaii high school baseball players. This event is comprised of the top 80 players in the state. The event provides an opportunity for the top players in Hawaii to showcase their skills in front of college coaches and professional scouts. College coaches from both local and mainland schools are invited to attend the event, giving players the chance to be seen and potentially earn scholarship offers. Professional scouts from MLB teams also attend the event, looking for talent to draft in the future.Responsibilities are, but not limited to:1. Planning and organizing the showcase event, including securing fields, booking accommodations for teams, and coordinating schedules.2. Recruiting teams and players to participate in the showcase, as well as managing registration and team communication.3. Overseeing the showcase staff, including coaches, umpires, and event volunteers, and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently.4. Managing the budget for the event and handling all financial transactions, including collecting team fees and paying for event expenses.5. Promoting the showcase through various marketing channels, including social media, email campaigns, and partnerships with baseball organizations.6. Handling any issues or conflicts that arise during the event, and making quick decisions to ensure the showcase runs smoothly.7. Evaluating the success of the showcase and making recommendations for improvements for future events.
