RESULTS-ORIENTED DIGITAL MARKETING PROFESSIONAL, WITH ELEVEN YEARS OF EXPERIENCE WORKING IN THE LIVE EVENTS INDUSTRY IN IRELANDGavin has carved out an exciting career in the live events industry over the past 11 years. He began his career at Ticketmaster Ireland where he played a key role in the Customer Relations team. He was solely responsible for all Ticketmaster platinum bookings, printing and dispatch of all tickets and liaising with over 120 Ticketmaster outlets nationwide. In this role, Gavin thrived in a high-pressure environment, dealing with high volumes of calls and emails, both queries & complaints. Gavin was also on the social club committee and enjoyed planning team events. During this time Gavin also worked as Box Office Supervisor coordinating ticket sales at nationwide venues including Croke Park, Aviva Stadium, RDS, Thomond Park and 3Arena. After seven years working in this role, Gavin was looking for a new challenge and enrolled in a Digital Marketing and Social Media Diploma with The Fitzwilliam Institute and graduated with a distinction. An opportunity arose for him to work within the marketing team at Ticketmaster. In this role, Gavin was responsible for website updates, social media content creation and email marketing. In November 2017 Gavin was approached by MCD Productions, the largest concert promoter in Ireland, and offered a role as Digital Website Design Marketing Executive. His key responsibilities in this role are: solely managing company websites including www.mcd.ie, www.longitude.ie and www.nyfdublin.com, managing all email marketing including the weekly newsletter, implementing SEO and SEM, and measuring the performance of all digital marketing campaigns and reporting on KPIs. In this role, Gavin liaises with the PR and marketing teams to ensure all events are announced in line with strict global tour announcement schedules. Gavin also manages all content for the Longitude app. His responsibilities include adding the festival lineup, stage times and FAQs to the app. He also creates app push notifications in the lead up to, and during the event. Gavin is regularly on-site at MCD events creating content for social media channels, liaising with PR teams and coordinating guest lists for concerts. In 2018 Gavin achieved a distinction in the Webmaster and Web Design Diploma at IACT.
