I led Every Casualty Counts, a human rights and humanitarian NGO. Our mission is to ensure every life lost to armed violence is recorded, recognised and remembered. Working directly to the Chair of Trustees, I ensure that the organisation is run well, with a coherent vision, mission and strategy and develop our strategic partnerships. Key successes include:- generating year-on-year record income for the organisation to support our work;- turning round the organisation and putting in place the foundation, people and processes for it to thrive;- achieving 'special consultative status' at the UN, which enables direct access to UN meetings;- innovating a new approach to rapid-onset conflicts, including in Tigray Ethiopia- expanding the range and reach of the global Casualty Recorders Network- recognition of casualty recording in the first ever thematic resolution in the UN Human Rights Council

Led World Vision UK's international policy, advocacy and political campaigns team to achieve tangible change in the lives of the world's most vulnerable children. Have achieved policy change in Preventing Sexual Violence in Conflict, Ending Child Marriage and secured greater funding from Government.Developed and driven a new organisational cause-led strategy placing influence at its heart, linking policy change to impact and income. Led an organisational first - an integrated public advocacy campaign to End Violence Against Children. Since launch, achieved over 27,000 people signing our petition to Government, launched in Parliament with cross-party support and a PR launch connecting UK domestic issues to international. The launch achieved social media reach of 3 million people, World Vision UK's greatest reach.Develop a high-performing team of policy makers, advocacy experts and and campaigners - and provide space for personal growth and innovation.Field visits include Syria Response in Lebanon and Jordan, Uganda, Malawi, Laos and Thailand.

Provided advice to UK members on the transitional design committee.Provided policy and tactical advice to Cabinet Ministers and led the stakeholder engagement team, with particular responsibility for NGOs and the private sector.
