I'm a chartered Civil Engineer with 23 years' experience in undertaking and managing the design of development infrastructure. Windfarm Developments - Ayrshire. Undertaking civil engineering design of site infrastructure to support planning application.Mixed Use Developments - Killingworth Moor. Working with a client consortium to develop infrastructure designs for large development site in North Tyneside. Producing designs for highway infrastructure including modifications to national trunk road. Developing SuDS scheme and submission of Flood Risk Assessment and Drainage Strategy.Wintirngham Park, Cambridgeshire. Developing earthworks and drainage strategies for 900+ unit development. Milburngate, Durham - A high profile mixed use development in the heart of historic Durham. I am the lead civil engineer and have developed solutions for surface water management in a challenging environment in an area subject to flooding from the River Wear.Heathrow Expansion - I led a package of work to develop a strategy for surface water management during the construction phase of the project. East Wick and Sweetwater - A mixed use development with 1500 new homes within the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. I was Atkins' Project Manager and we were responsible for the design of all below ground services and earthworks, including ground remediation.Stephenson Street Development, West Ham - Berkeley Homes - A mixed use development with approximately 3500 new homes adjacent to West Ham Station. I was Atkins' Project Manager for the early stages of the civil infrastructure works which involve diversion of large diameter sewers, high voltage power supplies and design of a new pedestrian bridge and a new bridge forming a new entrance into West Ham station. CrossRail 2 - I am the utilities lead for the early stages of the project which is focussing on identifying and logging services which will be affected by the proposals and developing a strategy for engagement with the statutory undertakers.Tidal Lagoon Swansea Bay - I was the civil lead engineer for a sub-package which included the utility supplies to the onshore and offshore structures including the 275kV power export cable and its routing via sub-estuary crossing to the grid connection point.
