My focus is on the business and production side of farming, particularly around the use of data & technology to allow farmers to make better informed decisions at an early stage in the production process. My partner focusses on the environment and biodiversity whilst we work together to integrate the 2 elements at a whole farm level.

Agricultural Engineering Precision Innovation (Agri-EPI) Centre. We accelerate the research, development and adoption of precision agriculture and engineering technology, sustainably boosting productivity, reducing emissions and increasing profitability across the whole agri-food chain. Through our R&D facilities, academic and industry partners, we explore how to optimise the performance of highly complex agricultural production and processing systems.One of four UK agri-tech centres, we also provide a testbed for the next generation of farming techniques and technology, including sensors, imaging and robotics. Our commercial field trials taking place within a UK-wide network of 28 satellite farms.
