Chartered Chemical Engineer with over 20 years experience in process/mechanical design and project engineering management. Exceptional understanding of thermodynamics and excellent knowledge of power station design, with particular experience in renewable waste-to-energy and biomass sectors.Currently providing full engineering consultancy services and technical support to the owners during the design and construction of the Slough Multifuel Project. Previously provided full consultancy support during design and construction of the Ferrybridge Multifuel 2 (FM2) Energy from Waste power station. Prior to that was the owner's lead engineer for the Ferrybridge Multifuel 1 (FM1) project. For all projects, responsible for managing input from a multi-disciplined team of engineers (process, mechanical, electrical, C&I and civil).Specialist knowledge and experience in detailed design of heat and mass transfer equipment including shell & tube heat exchangers, air-cooled condensers and separation columns. Also has extensive experience in combustion, flue gas treatment, water-steam cycles, design of CHP plants, fuel choice, fuel storage and handling arrangements, production of site layouts, assessment and recommendations of technology options, boiler package and steam turbines. Dedicated to maintaining the highest engineering, quality, safety and environmental standards.
