- Brief team on any new / updated job requirements or changes if applicable.- Manage stock levels of raw casting and machined Cylinder blocks, Cylinder heads and Crankshafts with quality related issues so that production requirements are met- Liaise with quality engineers to set up and start new quality containment’s - Monitor team member’s participation to ensure the training they are being provided (WES) is being put into use and to see if they require any additional training.- Ensure all line containment’s are covered / manned prior to shift start.- Ensure 5s is adhered to across all work stations.- Complete all daily job audits and report / escalate any failures to Supervisor.- Enter any entries onto absences & punctuality log.- Enter / complete shift head count daily.- Prepare daily activity reports.- Enter daily activity report figures.- Complete manning requirements for the following shift.- Sign off pay summary for all staff.- Escalate any issues to Site Supervisor.
