Responsibility included acquiring development sites and delivering over 2,000 apartments and 60 townhouses at an average of 250 dwellings settling per annum in the Canberra and Newcastle markets.During my 10 years in this role, we grew assets under management by over $1BN for the Doma portfolio including developing three hotels including negotiating and securing air space rights from TfNSW to develop the 230 room Little National Hotel over the operational Wynyard station in Sydney.I also secured and negotiated seven major Government pre-commitments ranging from 7,100m2 - 33,500m2 and delivered over 130,000sqm of PCA 'A' grade office and adept in the commercial office sector and leasing. Large pre-commitments include the Commonwealth of Australia (ATO, National Archives, Services Australia, Coal LSL), the NSW Government (PNSW0 and the ACT Government.As a specialist at project origination, my team and I secured a development pipeline for Doma of $2.5BN for the next 3-5 years including winning 7 from 8 land sale tenders from the NSW Government in Newcastle, NSW.During that time, we acquired over $80M in existing building assets (office and hotels) and managed sales of over $700M of developed commercial assets including the largest office transactions in the Newcastle and Canberra markets.As an excellent communicator I managed multiple stakeholder groups in complex property transactions and was an active member of the Property Council including panel speaking and invited on working committees.
