• Auditing of financial statements: understanding both the internal systems and the industry environment of each client, in order to identify the specific risks these may present to the audit. A key part of my role is.

• Advising on current systems: Reviewing the current systems used and making value-adding suggestions for improvements to the processes currently in place.
• Continuous engagement with clients: communication with a wide range of corporate clients and external parties, via conference calls, email, and face-to-face meetings at client locations across the UK.
• Mentoring of junior team members: as the senior auditor I am responsible for ensuring that all work produced is at the highest possible standard, reviewing the work of all junior team members and making myself.
