I am currently a Customs Liaison Officer with a large global and multinational company in Afghanistan, working specifically in Northern Afghanistan.I provide two functions within my role, the first main role as Customs Liaison Officer, the second as Security Manager to the four fuels sites we also run, and 200+ staff.As Liaison Officer responsible for the timely and accurate dispersal of logistics through the customs process.• Direct liaison with director of customs ensuring smooth transition to clear customs stock through rail and road ports• Ensure business operation and integrity is maintained throughout the customs clearance process• Maintain professional courtesy and engagement with customs staff, solving any issues that may arise.• Provide effective dialogue and knowledge of the clearance process and procedure when providing assistance• Establish effective communication and liaison with local law enforcement authorities• Maintenance of commercial budgets through timely dispersal of logistics supplies • Ensure correct paperwork is produced to ensure the customs clearance processes are swiftly actioned• Provide Key Leader Engagement to offer advice and assistance on any customs issues that involve the company As Security Manager provide Security Management to four fuels sites, and provide training and on the ground intelligence and security advice and direction. • As Security Manager provide security to 200+ multinational staff• Provide liaison to ensure ISAF, NATO support• Provide training to staff and adequate timely security advice.• Plan security moves throughout the Northern Afghan regions of staff• Plan and deliver security exercises on the sites

To allocate accommodation for all Supreme staff, permanent, temporary and visitors for 1800 bed spaces in various locations. This will encompass the movement in/out of 20-40 personnel per day, in accordance with the accommodation policy. I was responsible for revising all inputs to accommodation policy for General Manager, maintaining daily 100% accurate records and producing usage, manpower and financial reports, ensuring building maintenance, health & safety checks and new purchases are completed. This involves managing employees from various business units to complete the above listed work.
