Provide strategic and operational leadership for a global team of 39 Project Quality Managers and Region Quality Directors for the global new unit power equipment portfolio. Work closely with adjacent quality, supply, and sourcing organizations to accomplish key contractual quality deliverables, lead long-term business process continuous improvement of the projects quality fulfilment, and contribute to the overall strategy of the New Units Quality operation.• Work with the Inquiry to Order (ITO) and Order to Remittance (OTR) teams to drive proper recognition of the contractual quality requirements and ensure this is communicated to the fulfilling supply chain and vendors.• Support annual Quality Management System (QMS) audits of the New Units processes and procedures.• Drive quality culture and understanding of quality processes across functions, pertaining to Project Management.• Develop processes and metrics to measure the deliverables of the operation ensuring on time delivery and identify areas of continuous improvement as it related to Project quality deliverables.• Implement continuous improvement via LEAN to drive improved fulfillment of Project quality contractual deliverables.• Lead annual ISO Quality Management Reviews

Provide leadership for a team of seven (7) globally distributed Project Managers, contributing $MMM in portfolio revenue. Assure the successful execution of up to 50 gas turbine power plant upgrade projects on an annual basis, while assuring continued career development and professional growth of the team. Accountable for financial performance of the portfolio through accurate cost and revenue forecasting, effective resource utilization, materials and capital asset allocation, and on-time billing and collection. Engage during the quoting phase for pre-sales consulting, to apply lessons learned, provide accurate costing, scoping, and risk assessment for complex sales opportunities. Provide conflict resolution for project issues and customer complaints including C-level meetings and PowerPoint presentations. Accountable for approval of all purchasing workflows to suppliers and partners for material, engineering, and labor.

Provided Capital Project Management for the most complex and large account F & H class industrial gas turbine projects including; New Product Introduction, Extended Scope Plant Rehabilitation, and complete Power Block Replacements. Led overall coordination of internal stakeholders such as Engineering, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Quality, Parts Fulfillment, Global Repairs, and Field Services teams consisting of 50 team members. Supported Sales and Commercial Operations for Inquiry to Order phase of Complex Projects that shaped customer specifications into actionable project plans. Led client meetings to provide project updates on schedule, payment milestones, customer witness points, delivery, site construction management, and commissioning. Provided Financial reporting information on project revenue, cost, and cash.

Supported and enabled five (5) regional sales teams of 20 members to drive growth and desired results for gas turbine upgrades within the region. Provided market knowledge and active support for global sales campaigns, development of strategic program management, including new product introduction. Responsible for identification, cultivation, and closing complex sales opportunities through an understanding of customers' power generation strategies and solution selling for Gas Turbine Conversions, Modifications & Upgrades. Led client visits and client meetings to understand technical specifications and create corresponding business case proposals. Provided Sales Inventory Op Planning (SIOP) inputs for campaigns to place factory and supplier demands and meet convertibility targets. Accountable for documentation and reporting in SFDC on commitments, orders, penetration, pricing, profit, expenses, risk, terms & conditions, and customer satisfaction.

Project managed power plant rehabilitation, control system retrofits, accessories upgrades, and engineering studies for Frame 5, 6B, 7B/E, and F-class industrial gas turbine projects. Coordinated support organizations through vast network of technical and commercial contacts. Served as SME on complex technology and communicated technical information to non-technical audiences across the organization and with external personnel. Responsibility for safe, quality, on time, and on budget execution of assigned projects.

Provide technical support for Field Engineers and Customers of industrial Gas Turbine power plants to troubleshoot control systems and accessory systems. Create improvement programs for operability issues with gas, liquid and crude fuel systems. Subject Matter Expert for accessory system training programs. Lead customer and user group technical reviews.

Lead start-up and commissioning site activities for combined cycle power plants in land-based installations, oil & gas platforms and marine vessels. Assisted in site management, scheduling, performance testing and acceptance. Configured, calibrated, tested and tuned all automation and controls associated with GE LM series, and Allison Aeroderivative gas turbines.

Performed electrical and mechanical repairs on GE LM series and Allison gas turbine engine sets. Conducted inspections and calibration of governors, load controllers, synchronizers, transmitters, pressure switches and flow meters. Assisted with machine alignments, engine change outs, hot gas section repair and borescope inspections.

Operated and maintained shipboard engineering plants utilizing GE and Allison gas turbine engine sets. Administered and improved engineering casualty control training programs. Performed troubleshooting and repairs on GE, Litton and Woodward control systems. Performed preventative maintenance on purifiers, pumps, air compressors, and boiler water systems.
