• Lead the team of Customer Quality Engineers, be responsible for team’s education/coaching/management;• Review customer complaints• Track customer complaint resolution• Handle complex and escalated customer service issues• Monitor accuracy of reporting and data base information• Identify and implement strategies to improve quality of service, productivity and profitability• Liaise with company management to support and implement growth strategies• Co-ordinate and manage customer service projects and initiatives• To work with other departments to establish root cause & appropriate short/long term corrective actions;• Customer satisfaction survey conduction;• Customer defect analysis coordination and analysis report ( or/and customer 8D report ) review;• To support customer audit or visit.• Maintenance the relationship with customer from quality side, to visit customer sites to assist field support personnel.

Main Tasks:• Acts as the global Quality contact to the customer and commercial team • Provides feedback and justification to the business team for changes which will improve BASF's relationship with the customer • Negotiates with the customer to implement globally aligned best practices for quality control testing, product inspection, data reporting, and information sharing with the customer • In coordination with Application Engineers, negotiates with the customer product specifications during the sales cycle in alignment with internal BASF capabilities and account team strategy • Ensures analytical and manufacturing techniques are consistent from site to site and meet agreed customer specifications through alignment with Local Quality Assurance Engineers • Ensures manufacturing sites are prepared for and successfully pass customer audits • Supports the Product Life Cycle Process for global program implementations to ensure all quality requirements are addressed and negotiated (internally and externally) • Ensures customer specific requirements are included in the internal audit plan • Ensures customer specific testing requirements are followed by Quality Control • Performs quality reviews of catalyst design-FMEA for compliance with stated customer requirements, specifications, and quality records • Accountable for PPAP preparation, successful PPAP outcome, and customer approval • Partners with Local Quality Assurance during quality issues to ensure internal global alignment and manages the relationship with the customer • Escalates significant issues or developments identified during quality assurance activities and provides recommended process improvements and solutions to management • Prepares customer related reports (for example customer scorecard) including analysis and driving implementation of needed actions • Approves changes to existing products or process which have previously been agreed by the customer.

• Act as primary quality interface with customer OEM on new and running programs (secondary contact)• Support Quality engineering to ensure on-time and correct response in case of quality concerns (8D)• Use of advanced problem solving skills (Red ‘X’ , Six Sigma ,etc) to resolve difficult problemsWill be assigned to advanced quality engineering duties concerning new program development teams with responsibilities of developing quality processes on product assembly level for one or more programs.• Advanced quality engineering activities require extensive knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plan, Containment Plans, GD&T, Check Fixtures, Gage R&R, APQP, PPAP, AAR.• Monitoring the quality regarding planning, implementation and progress, through APQP reporting in cooperation with Purchase, SQD, Customer Focused Teams and Project Teams• Translation of customer specific requirements into IRS processes and systems• Coordinating customer PPAP activities (new programs and running engineering changes)• Contribute to lessons learned towards R&D and give input to engineering design rules• Risk assessment & management during the quotation phase• Financial handling of quality issues (reworks, containments, yard holds, recalls, ASNs, RGAs)• Optimizing customer satisfaction & customer relationships• Define the customer specific Quality planning and cross-verification of Control Plans and FMEA’s• Lead/support TS16949 internal audit process as required.• Travel to Inalfa facilities and Customers (local, domestic and International)• Work with logistics on quality related material shortages on prelaunch and launch build events.• Familiarity with OEM systems (Phased PPAP, PSO, GQTS, B2B,etc.).• Lead development, build and qualification of both internal checking fixtures.• Develop initial process flows, control plans and containment plans for assembly processes at Inalfa.• Process & analyze data for Customer build events and PPAP
