Working with our CUO I get to work with all of the trading teams at Beazley. We have great people and a diverse business and that makes this great fun! Each day is different - one minute its cyber or D&O the next its satellites or property. I really enjoy being challenged and I get to learn new things almost every day. I work with a team that supports Specialty Lines - the largest specialist insurance team in the London Market. We enable 200+ underwriters globally with the tools that they need to win business and look after their clients. This includes pricing, reserving and all of the other fun things that make our business run smoothly!

Singapore

I was located in Singapore and leading of Beazley’s growing Asia Pacific business. I delivered a strategy that is increased the number of underwriters based locally along with an associated expansion in the range of specialist insurance offered. This currently includes: construction and engineering; political risks; terrorism; contingency; specialty lines; marine; large commercial property; and treaty. My role also encompassed broker relations, marketing, and optimising the operating infrastructure to enable business to be written efficiently and to high service standards.

I joined Beazley’s expanding healthcare team, quickly became focus group leader for the US hospitals professional liability book, then the largest in the London insurance market.

I underwrote a broad spectrum of E&O business including lawyers’ professional indemnity, tech E&O, architects’ and engineers’ and Misc professional indemnity.
