About Gavin Heath

Hello my name is Gavin Heath and I have been working in the Department of Defense contracting industry for over 5 years. Prior to that I was doing managed services work in the private industry.During this time, I gained experience in a variety of DevOps Open Source tooling like Kubernetes, Gitlab & Gitlab CI/CD, AWS, terraform, ansible, ArgoCD and FluxCD, and much more. In the more recent years, I have served in leadership positions such as Product Owners, Kanban lead, and scrum Master. On top of this, I also have development experience in full stack development, writing frontend applications using VueJS, backend development in python utilizing frameworks like Django, Flask and FastAPI, and working with a variety of NoSQL and SQL Databases like cassandra, postgresql and mongoDB.Some personal passions of mine include rust, open source, and Cloud Native development.
