I'm passionate about facilitating learning through writing and digital media production. Building innovative curriculum that creates possibility for individuals as well as large organizations drives my research. My favorite thing is to work with students to develop boundary-pushing digital writing that meets their personal and professional goals. I'm dedicated to issues of equity, community, accountability, and coalition.My extensive experience in higher education positions me at the forefront of digital media teaching and cultural analysis. I'm invested in learning about the communication practices in diverse communities and contexts through qualitative research, especially ethnographic field notes, one-on-one interviews, and focus groups. I work with institutions to strategize and implement innovative curriculum. I specialize in understanding and producing digital communication. I honed my skills through my PhD work in Rhetoric, Composition, and Literacy at The Ohio State University in the Department of English.
