I am a Performance Test Team manager for a leading global Mobile Money specialist. I started with the company as a sole test analyst and built up the performance test team to a total of nine analysts. I created a performance test strategy for the company and introduced performance test processes and standards to which the team adhere to. I lead a team of performance test analysts and we are responsible for identifying and resolving bottlenecks within the application code and infrastructure. The team is very much hands on with day to day performance testing activities for major financial institutions around the globe. We utilise several application profiling tools including dynaTrace and Java Mission control which allows us to do this. We make configuration recommendations for tuning Glassfish such as JDBC connections, HTTP threads and heap size.I am also responsible for investigation of performance issues within the production environments. This can include reviewing metrics before, during and after an event, attempting to reproduce performance issues in a pre-production environment, taking part in incident calls and making recommendations for resolution.I have led many high profile projects for large, well-known clients which include RBS mobile data centre migration, BlackBerry Money, Visa Inc. and Visa EU. Mobile clients, Telefonica commerce mobile applications in Spain and Brazil and for many other UK and International based financial institutions.

I was a senior consultant in the Specialist Testing division responsible for performance testing of a diverse range of computer systems for various clients across multiple industry sectors. I led teams of consultants on performance testing projects. I had responsibility for managing projects including project & risk management, financial control, planning, scripting, execution, results analysis and final performance results presentation to clients.

I was a senior performance test consultant on a number of engagements for a variety of clients as a sole consultant or as part of a larger team. I was involved in the complete performance testing lifecycle adhering to industry standards while developing excellent LoadRunner skills through testing many diverse systems.Gained experience in mentoring and teaching performance test analysts on client site and internally at StarBase. I delivered the StartBase Advanced LoadRunner four day course to external client both on client site and at the StarBase office.
