Responsible for implementing manufacturing policies and programs that guide plant in maintaining and improving its competitive position and profitability. Directly oversees safety, manufacturing, and quality and will work collaboratively across the organization. • Oversee and stood up 5 salaried positions in the packaging department. Created training plans and developed what role responsibilities would be. Executed bi weekly 1-1 developmental meetings with employees.• Worked with local Community college to implement business trainings for both new hire and tenured salaried employees.• Dealt with Team Member formal complaints and lead other managers through the prosses of how to effectively handle team member disagreements.• Owned the forecasting, action planning, and execution of financials for multiple areas of the business including labor, training, meetings, and waste.• Owned staffing/crewing through the Covid pandemic to balance the teams safety with the needs of the business which saw record breaking growth during the pandemic.• Ensured department met all regulatory standards and received the highest AIB (American Institute of Baking) inspection score in the sites history.

• Worked with both the site and HQ project team to continue to implement multiple projects across packaging and processing for a global pilot that has since been partially rolled out across the country (delayed by covid pandemic).• In processing department lead the Max Failsafe Seasoning pilot and helped project team improve upon many of the original concepts for the project. Including replacing the style of lights, replacing the style of hubble plugs, eliminating the ability to bypass for operators, and replacing the style of scanner used. This project was a global pilot and will ensure food safety for adding seasoning in the future across the company.• Worked with 2nd shift SCL to improve both image and capability. Set up a 1 to 1 cadence where we spoke about his point assignments and action plans. Was able to support him and have seen results improve in multiple of his point assignment categories.• Had to stand down a control room project and handle conversations with 3 employees who’s roles were being disbanded after a year of the pilot. Was able to have the difficult conversation with all 3 employees as well as find them new positions that both were needed by the company and fit their career plans.

Lead the 1st shift manufacturing team and managers. Deal with day to day operations and am the escalation point for any and all issues in manufacturing before involvement of Department Managers. Own multiple point assignments and drive productivity across both the packaging and processing departments and also lead large department wide projects.

Oversee entire manufacturing operations on the weekends. Supervise 100's of employees across multiple departments to ensure efficient and effective operations on weekends. Delegate tasks to TM to ensure KPI's are met across multiple shifts and departments. Cover production, packaging, and sanitation of both Potato Chips and Corn Chips. Ensure proper performance metrics are hit across all departments including but not limited to machine efficiency, waste, labor, and schedule attainment.

Operate Packaging machines at proper efficiency while also ensuring minimal waste.

Complete lab testing on various products to ensure all product is run within Frito Lay specifications. This includes running tests on moisture, salt, and oil content of product as well as quality of incoming raw materials. Also preformed periodic maintenance on equipment used for quality testing.

Coordinate a work group of 50-75 employees in the packaging department. Create daily schedules for each person so they know what they are doing for the day. Also coordinate allergenic changeovers to ensure food safety. Check and verify payroll for about 100 employees.
