At present I am a Senior Branch Manager in a fast paced high street Digital Store. Everyday is a new challenge and is a new adventure. Since joining Dixons Carphone I have grown the stores I have worked in and have helped build successful sales teams. At present I have a consistent top 10 performing store within the company and have moved into a senior role which involves supporting my RGM with his regional duties and adopting the Regional Managers role when he is away on annual leave.

I joined the group as a Deputy Manager and worked my way via a number of roles to the aforementioned position. I was promoted to General Sales Manager at the age of 22 having spent 18 months as a Deputy Manager and was one of the youngest General Sales Managers in the company’s history. During my time I had also managed flagship stores and also clusters to great effect and successful performances, while also being seconded to the role of Regional Compliance Manger.My responsibilities include:• The day to day running of the store with full responsibility for profit delivery and achieving sales targets• One of only 8 Recruitment Ambassadors trained to interview and recruit potential candidates for not only my own stores but a large number of other branches• Team management and training• Formal appraisal, mentoring and coaching of team members• Determining standards of customer service and ensuring these high standards are met and exceeded• Targeted to sell 3rd party products such as SKY TV and Broadband services• Cash and asset management and security of same• Ensuring all Health and Safety regulations are complied with• Supporting the Associate Retail Director particularly with banking and stock issues as well as providing support and guidance for managers and sales members in other group outlets• Monitoring levels of customer satisfaction by utilizing “Net Promoter Scores”Other roles included Manager at a branch of Fonelink and Sales Adviser with a large national retailer.
