Responsible for mobilising new UK kitchen online presence for sales, planning and installation services for INGKA/IKEA, planning and co-ordination of combined business models. Secured and negotiated new lease premises and set up new working office location and recruited team of core management and operational service teams. (83 staff, 240 install teams.) Alongside support team, developed new processes and ways of working to align with existing IKEA kitchen service offer and implement new digital dashboard and IKEA interface for Co-workers and customers. Identified skill specific training requirements and built a platform and timeline to secure required knowledge and competence.Develop and communicate new ways of working alongside IKEA senior management team. Oversaw legal and contractual requirements, compliance (GDPR) and general terms and conditions.

Responsible for full development of the IKEA Facilities Management strategy and management of 60 units across the UK, NI and ROI, and 600+ support staff including co-worker development and succession planning. Delivered through team work, competence development, measure and follow up and a cost conscious standardised service delivery, achieved 13% reduced running costs of c.£2m a year, through service scope refinement and procurement.Procurement and management of all FM service and support contracts including HVAC, Cleaning, M&E, compliance, retail equipment, waste management, utilities etc. Procurement, development and delivery of the IKEA energy management strategy and goals to support the IKEA sustainability plan. Developed an 10 year lifecycle plan to secure annual investment, implement and follow up to maintain life and value of the buildings. Critical reactive support including business continuity and recovery. This was implemented Globally.Optimised utilities costs (annual) and achieved savings of 15% c.£2.4m, through planned infrastructure replacement and focus on efficient systems and building controls. Overall responsibility for full budget planning to include Operation and Capital expenditure, and energy efficiency investment, demonstrating forecast, actual and managing variance.Integral support and contributor to the expansion team for rebuilds, new builds and capacity solutions, from design input, commissioning and training to handover upon completion. Implemented new design scope for vertical transport to improve specification and quality, improved availability and reduced annual repair costs, 99% availability was achieved.
