Overseen the day to day operations at the popular 18 bedroom Letterfinaly Lodge Hotel on Loch Lochy by Spean Bridge, Fort William. The hotel has a very busy F&B department and is extremely popular for weddings.

Responsible for working with Managing Director and Unit Managers to improve the current excellent offering and increase revenue. Also oversee the businesses brand management and Marketing/PR activity. Responsible from inseption to delivery of events throughout the organisation.

Responsible for all areas of inspection & grading of Hotels and Guest Accomodation. Awarded saught after AA Rosette's for culinary excellence. One of Two Inspectors in Scotland, covering the majority of Scotland with the exeption of Edinburgh and the Borders.

Managed the Lime Tree Hotel, Restaurant and Art Gallery. Working with Chef Ross Sutherland (Scotland's youngest ever winner of a Michelin Star) and artist David Wilson. Highlights include: Increasing Revenue by 30% on previous best, whilst still receiving Industry awards and accolades.

Developed and maintained all corporate business within UK and Ireland for MindStore the UK’s leading performance and motivational training company. This involved selling the concept of MindStore and its portfolio to over 50% of FTSE 100 listed companies Worked closely with Managing Director Jack Black on the business strategy and with the Marketing Manager on all PR and Marketing initiatives.

Overseen the running two profitable business units within Crannog Concept Ltd - Crannog Seafood Restaurant and Souter’s Lass Cruise Boat (Hospitality Function).Responsible for working toward budgeted targets, recruiting, maintaining and developing staff and standards across the different divisions (up to 60 employees), always seeking opportunities to improve and develop each business unit which would, in turn, increase profitability. Assisted the Managing Director and Operations Manager while they completed the smooth acquisition of an International Diving School, The Underwater Centre. This expanded my role to Commercial Manager of three business units to include overseeing Hospitality Operations for The Underwater Centre.

Worked as part of the sales team at our local Ford dealership in Fort William, Motorway CarsWon national recognition award for being one of the of the top three sales executives in Scotland for selling new Ford Focus cars September 2002.Actively promoted proactive after sales service ensuring all customers had a positive experience which encouraged repeat business.
