Electrician specialising in all industrial,domestic and commercial works and employed by one company for +20 years where i specialised in fixed wiring electrical testing. Employed as building services electrical clerk of works for Dundee City Council for all unplanned maintenance(lighting/power faults,additions to circuits etc)health and safety contracts (Fire alarms,lifts,automatic doors,emergency lighting,fixed wiring electrical testing,assisted baths,lightning protection,barriers,roller shutters etc) and small/large capital works. (Lead Electrical Clerk of Works at the new Harris Academy).Took over as Acting Technician overseeing new Health and Safety contracts In service inspection and testing of electrical equipment,Door access controls,CCTV and Intruder systems. Returned to Electrical Clerk of Works duties when the In Service contract was put to Procurement. Involved in the Electrical Testing contract prior to tender stage in 2021. Door Access,Stage Lighting and Automatic Barriers tender stage in 2023 and Emergency Lighting in 2024.Open to all opportunities to progress further,eager and willing to learn.Outwith work i am a proud Dad to Paisley 25 and Ryan 16.
